Are you insured?

Yes. We are both insured and bonded by Pet Sitters Associates, LLC. By being a member of this organization, we are held to the highest standards in the pet care industry.

Being insured and bonded makes us fully responsible for not only your dog(s), but your home and possessions as well. Both your dog(s) and your property is fully covered by our policies with PSA. We are committed to providing you with professional and trustworthy service, and these policies help us achieve that goal.

Are you trained in pet first aid?

Yes. We are certified in Pet First Aid & CPR by the American Red Cross. Your dog’s health, safety and well-being is our number one priority.

Do you offer pet sitting services as well?

We currently just offer dog walking services. However, if you leave your dog at your home while on vacation, we will gladly come by and take him or her for a walk.

Are you breed specific in the dogs that you will or won’t walk?

No, we are not breed specific at all. We love ALL dogs! Pit Bulls, Labs, Bulldogs, Dobermans, every single one! We will walk your dog as long as we feel safe doing so. If your dog has ever bitten or exhibits aggressive/dangerous behavior then we will not walk your dog.

Can I choose where you walk my dog?

Yes, absolutely. In fact, this is one of the many questions we ask you once you sign up for our services. If you or your dog has a favorite walk route that he/she is familiar with then we would like to know.

Will you still walk my dog in the rain?

Yes. We will walk your dog rain or shine. If it’s raining, we do ask that you leave a towel out so that we can dry your dog off after the walk.

Will my dog be walked by the same person each time?

Yes. Your dog will have the same dog walker each time. If for some reason that changes, we will notify you in advance and setup a meet and greet with the new walker free of charge. Your dog’s familiarity with us is extremely important to us too!

How can I receive updates on how my dog is doing when I am at work or on vacation?

Our pupdate is meant to provide you with the times your dog went to the bathroom as well as daily happenings each day. You can choose to receive these updates via email, text message or a notebook kept at your house.

My dog is older and doesn’t need a long walk, how will you accommodate?

If your dog is older, we will take him or her outside for a bathroom break. For the rest of the visit, we will shower your dog with the love and affection he/she deserves. If your dog is feeling frisky, we will also play with him/her. We will be sure to let you know the daily happenings after each visit through our pupdate.

Do you have references?

Yes. We have references available upon request.

Will you administer my dog his/her medication while you’re here?

Yes. We will administer any pills or medications to your dogs during our visit at no additional charge.

What forms of payment do you accept?

We currently accept cash and check. Please make checks payable to You Lucky Dog LLC.

When is payment due?

Payment is due before each service is provided.
